BAPSEA’s Fourth Cohort: Seven Companies Begin Their Southeast Asia Journey
A New Cohort Enters a Dynamic Region
Southeast Asia is developing quickly and investing heavily in energy and infrastructure. Across the region, governments are increasing their focus on climate action, which in turn is raising the demand for new sustainable solutions and technologies.
The Business Accelerator Programme Southeast Asia (BAPSEA) has now welcomed seven new companies into its fourth intake. Each company is exploring opportunities to bring its innovative technologies and expertise to the region.
“From streamlined marine engines to smart air purification and more efficient parking solutions – these are companies working with technologies that can support the energy transition. Through the Southeast Asia programme, they receive support as they explore opportunities in the region.” – Therese Lindbom, Business Developer at the Swedish Energy Agency.

Programme Kick-Off and Market Expansion Support
The programme officially kicks off in mid-March in Stockholm, launching an 18-month journey for participating companies to explore opportunities in Southeast Asia. Each company focuses on one of six key markets—Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, or Malaysia—and receives tailored guidance, market insights, and support for business development. In May, the first delegation trip serves as a market introduction visit, allowing companies to engage with potential customers, partners, and decision-makers and gain first-hand insight into local dynamics. Later in the autumn, a second delegation brings all participants together in Singapore during Singapore Energy Week, offering additional opportunities to strengthen networks, explore partnerships, and assess long-term market potential. Through these activities, the programme equips companies to position their technologies effectively and build sustainable, long-term partnerships across the region.
