Southeast Asia Energy Day puts regional transition and public-private partnerships in focus

The Swedish Energy Agency hosted the very first ‘Southeast Asia Energy Day’ in Stockholm, Sweden on 18th June. This forum brings together BAPSEA companies, regional embassies (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam), the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and other actors with interest in Southeast Asia such as the Swedish International Development Agency, Swedish export financiers, the International Council for Swedish Industry, and private sector companies.

A very relevant focus during the day was discussions on the new Swedish strategy for international trade, which is placing emphasis on Asia, and the reform agenda for international development aid.
